Mini Haul!

Hello mi amigos!!
I thought i'd do a little haul that i've been meaning to do for a while, feel like i hardly do posts anymore, i will try and be a better beauty blogger i (almost) promise :)

If you're a regular reader of my blog you'll know that i lurveee Miss Sporty nail varnishes, so i thought i'd grab this Glossy Tech top coat, because i'd completely ran out of normal clear top coats, and i'm so glad i did!
It is a strange cloudy white colour in the bottle but it goes on the nail clear, and it makes them really nice and shiny and dries really quickly, what more can you ask?! This was only £1.99 in Superdrug.

This is my all timeee favourite mascara, this is a third or fourth time repurchase, although last time i got the normal false lash effect, and this is false lash effect FUSION, not sure what the difference is really but i think this one works better than the normal one, although maybe it's just the word FUSION that's making me think it works better? I'm a simple soul. This was £11.99 (priceyyy) in Boots, i had a voucher for 200 Boots points when you bought a Maxfactor mascara so that took the sting out of it a little bit.

I also got this Maxfactor Smokey Eye Effect eyeshadow stick free when i bought the mascara, this would be good if i hadn't already tried this product and reeeally disliked it! This is in the shade Bronze Haze and when you swatch them the colours look really rich and amazing, but it's when you apply it to the eyes that the problems start!
I have pretty dry eyelids, but when i put this on they suddenly turn into a oil slick! It slips off so easily and smudges into the corners and creases of my eyes, not good! The dark colour is much worse than the light but that's probably only because it's darker so it shows up more.
For £7.99 these are so not worth it in my opinion, please let me know if you've had a different experience with this product!

I got this MUA lipstick in Nectar, i've seen this on The Sunday Girl's blog before and i loved it, and for £1 you can't really go wrong! I'm wearing it in the picture above, as well as the poopy smokey eye effect, and it's really glossy and gives a lovely, quite subtle but buildable, orange colour to the lips.
I love corals and oranges, if i could choose one lip colour to wear forever it would be a coral or an orange!
This lipstick needs reapplying quite frequently though, but that's to be expected from a £1 lipstick, and it has a really nice sweet scent, but if you don't like heavily scented products i'd say you should give this a miss. These are from Superdrug.

Hope you enjoyed!
I'm just wondering if anyone would like me to do a lipstick collection post, i've been thinking about doing one for a while so i just thought i'd get your opinions :)
Thanks!! Hope you've had a lovely Sunday!

  2. Your make up looks lovely, especially the blusher :)

  3. I have the eye shadow in the black and silver colour. It's not that good, same sort of problems you had. I also find I react to it really badly; stings my eyes. Would not buy it again. Great Blog!
