MUA Undressed Palette - Full Review!

Hello there toffee bonbons!
Me and my boyfriend had a shopping trip to Middlesbrough on Saturday and he treated me to a few makeup items, one of them being the much talked about MUA Undressed Palette, otherwise known as a dupe for the legendary Urban Decay Naked palette.
I don't own the Naked palette, so i wouldn't know, but i found a picture on Google images as reference and i have to say, i definitely see where they're coming from! It's almost identical, but obviously the quality of the eyeshadows will be different, but seen as my boyfriend bought me the Undressed palette for £3 (it has £1 off in Superdrug at the mo) and the Urban Decay Naked palette is a whopping £36 on Debenhams, i think i can  put up with the difference in formulas!
Here is the picture of the Urban Decay palette's colours:

And here's some pictures of  the Undressed palette:
I've compared all of the colours to the Urban Decay one and the colours seem more or less the same, the 6 on the top row of the MUA palette are dupes for the first 6 in the Naked palette, and the bottom 6 in the MUA palette are dupes for the last 6 in the Naked palette, if you get what i mean! So it's easy to see if colours match or not.
The closest matches are definitely the dupes for Creep and Gunmetal, and Smog is also pretty close.
I also like this handy little guide they have on the back of the case:
Would have preferred it if they'd given the shades names! Surely it wouldn't have cost them anymore money? I like the little guides for eye looks as well, i might have to try some of them out!

No flash. You can really see the shimmer in the eyeshadows here!

Pretty prettyyy!
These eyeshadows are really pigmented, as with all MUA eyeshadows the matte ones are nowhere near as pigmented as the shimmery ones but they're still pretty good!
They're a little bit powdery in texture so be careful about fallout under the eyes, especially with the darker shades.
The packaging is pretty basic, a bit flimsy feeling, if you dropped it i wouldn't trust it to protect them but as i don't plan on dropping it and never really move my eyeshadow palettes from my makeup station in my bedroom that isn't a problem for me!
And the price is obviously the best thing about this product! £3 for 12 eyeshadows, 25p an eyeshadow! I mean, wow!! I'd definitely recommend going to get this now from Superdrug if you want it as it currently has £1 off, so does the Olympic's limited edition gold palette from MUA as well, which i was going to get but this one definitely has more wearable shades for me.
Lasting power on MUA eyeshadows is always really good on me, i don't use a primer but i don't have oily eyelids or anything that would make the eyeshadow wear off so maybe if you do you might have had a different experience but for me, no problemo!
MUA, you've done it again! Well done you :)
Have any of you got this palette and the Naked palette? Do you see a massive difference?
Let me know below!
Thanks guys and gals!

  7. I can't wait to try the MUA palette, but whichever Superdrug I've been in either has sold out, or doesn't stock MUA Pro. Definitely need to order it online!

    1. aww that's sucky!! Definitely order it online, it's a pity it's not available on the Superdrug website yet, they need to sort out how long it takes to put their products online!

  9. Ooh this palette looks gorgeous, thank you for the swatches, I think I'm going to have to get myself one! I have the Heaven & Earth palette and you're right, the packaging isn't all that sturdy. I dropped it once and although it kept all the shadows in tact (thank goodness!) the casing cracked which is a bit rubbish! xo

    1. Yeah they could definitely do with making the packaging a bit more sturdy! Even if it added a pound onto the price i don't think many people would complain too much! But as i said, it's not a massive issue for me cos i just keep them in my makeup area, don't really carry them around with me :)
