Aloha pretty ladies!
I've got another review for you today, this time of the Stila Colour Balm lipstick in the shade Gemma.
I'm a huge fan of Stila, I covet so many of their products and I always find them to be great quality and something a bit different from other brands, so when I saw these new nourishing lipbalm/lipstick hybrids on ASOS I had to get one!
For some reason, when I picked up this colour it was only £9, along with a couple of other colours, whereas the other colours were £16, but now they're all upto that price so I don't know why that was, maybe they were just on sale.

I really like the packaging, it's really shiny silver metal with the colour of the lipstick on the inside of the packaging, and I love the writing on the side that's cut into the bullet too, it looks really chic and different.
The packaging is quite heavy and substantial feeling too, like the YSL Rouge Volupte lipsticks.
One thing I will say is that the bullet of the lipstick is a really odd shape, it's round and very big which makes it hard to apply in just one swipe as it's too big for my lips so it requires some precision, but it has a tiny mirror on the top of the cap of the lipstick which makes on-the-go touch ups a bit easier.

Excuse my patchy foundation, it had been a long day haha!
As you can see it's a gorgeous, really unusual pinky-purple colour, I knew I had to have this shade as I don't have any that are similar.
It's a very nourishing lipstick, it feels like a balm and you think that it won't be very pigmented because of that but it's actually amazing pigmentation!
It's really long-lasting too which is always a plus and leaves your lips very moisturised.
It has a beautiful smell, it contains peppermint oil but it doesn't smell like a medicated product like the Revlon Kissable Balm Stains do, it's a lovely creamy peppermint smell, like a mint humbug sweet!
Also the peppermint oil gives that lovely cooling, menthol effect on your lips, it's always nice to have a minty smelling mouth!
I would definitely recommend these lipsticks, they'll feel great in the Summer when you want something light-feeling on your lips but don't want to compromise on colour.

As I said previously, Stila Colour Balm lipsticks are available on ASOS and the Stila website for £16 each.
