Current Favourites!

Hello everyone!
I'm a bit late for June favourites so I just thought I'd do a current favourites post instead!
I hope everyone in the UK is enjoying the rare sunshine we've been having! I'm currently taking cover in my living room after lying in the garden all afternoon, the heat is relentless!
So my first favourite would be the sunshine! Enjoy it while it lasts UK dwellers :)

From left to right - Greenberry, Key Lime & Dragonfruit.
I was late jumping on this bandwagon, but I'm so glad I finally made the leap! These polishes have such a wonderful formula, really opaque, two coats and their perfect, and the shade range is brilliant!
I'm a big fan of normal Barry M nail varnishes too, but the formula of the Gelly ones is so shiny and long lasting that it's definitely superior!

These are two more products that I waited a long time to purchase thinking they wouldn't live upto the hype, turns out I'm not very good at predicting these things because they're amazing!
I use the Matte Nail Envy because A) it's cheaper! and B) I work in a kitchen so I can't wear anything visible on my nails.
Ever since I've started using Nail Envy my nails have been growing like Pinocchio's nose! I've even had to trim them down, which if you knew me you'd know is a miracle because usually my nails are super short because they break so easily!
And the Seche Vite top coat is brilliant, I used to use the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat, which is still really good, but Seche Vite leaves your nails SO glossy that I prefer using this now.
These two products are definitely holy grail for me now and I can't envisage a time I won't be using them, especially the Nail Envy!
I buy these from Amazon because they're an absolute steal! The Seche Vite is under £6 (cheaper than the Sally Hansen is in Superdrug!) and Matte Nail Envy is around £8! They last really well too, I've had them both for over 2 months, and the Seche Vite is just coming upto the end now and the Nail Envy still has a quarter left.

Before I talk about this lipstick, I've just gone on the MAC website to find a link to this product and I noticed the lipsticks have gone up to £15!!
Where will these ridiculous price hikes end?!
Anyway, moving on, Plumful lipstick!
I actually bought this lipstick accidentally when I was shopping for Rebel, I bought this one by mistake because I got confused by the names, but I'm so glad I did! This is such a easy to wear shade!
It's a Lustre finish so it's not completely opaque colour with one stroke like the Cremesheens, but this is super buildable so you can either wear it sheer or as a real pop of colour!
The wonderful Essie Button raves about this lipstick all the time so it must be good! She has the best taste :)

I've had this blush for ages, it's a gorgeous cool toned pink with a tiny bit of shimmer running through it.
I picked it up recently from my (extensive) blush collection and I don't know why I haven't used it more often!
This has now been discontinued by Benefit by the looks of it, but I got mine from Ebay and mine's 100% genuine, I've linked a top rated Ebay seller above, and it's £10 cheaper than a normal Benefit face powder, score!!

I bought this brush from Ebay and it's SO super soft! I couldn't work out what to use it for at first but I've discovered it's brilliant for use this powder! I don't have especially oily skin but in this warm weather I like to powder my T-zone and this is so soft that it just lightly spreads the powder across my face without caking it on.

I am legitimately in love with this stuff, not only does it smell gorgeous, pepperminty and fresh, it also feels so cooling when you put it on (perfect for this sweaty weather!) and it does a great job of moisturising the feet.
Soap & Glory products have been knocking my socks off lately (pardon the pun), it seems everything I try from them is brilliant!

I am a huge fan of Lauren Weisberger's books! I was so excited to get this new book that I pre-ordered it, the first thing I've ever pre-ordered in my life!
I've loved every book she's written and this one is no exception, she's such a descriptive writer and really paints a picture for you, without making it arduous reading.
This is a follow up book to The Devil Wears Prada, set ten years later after Andy left Miranda Priestly's employ, Andy's life is flourishing with a marriage to a eligible bachelor and running her own popular wedding magazine, until Miranda Priestly rears her ugly (but beautifully accessorised) head again!

They're all my current favourites!
I'm really happy with all my favourites, I can see me using them for a long time (not the book obviously, I'm not that slow at reading) and repurchasing for a while to come!
Lots of love!

  2. I'm a huge fan of Benefit's boxed powders! I love Dallas, and Bella Bamba. If you liked thrrrob, I'm sure you would love dandelion as well! It's lighter, but the colour is very build-able. Great post!

  4. I want the matte nail envy so bad, I bought a cheap one by Rimmel thinking it would do the job and it was rubbish. The OPI one looks amazing though! I really need a kabuki brush so will definitely have a look for this on eBay, have you tried the ebay Real Techniques dupes? I posted about them a few weeks ago theyre so good xx
