REVIEW - L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Tan Optimiser Nourishing Body Lotion.

That's a hell of a title isn't it!!
Hello everyone, and welcome to a review of the longest named body lotion in the land of lands!!

I was sent this by L'Oreal to review along with a lot of the other products from the Sublime Bronze line (view those posts here and here) and I've had mixed feelings about them, so I was excited to try the body lotion next!
Firstly the packaging, the white bottle makes it look a bit cheap, but I appreciate the fact it has a pump!
It is a fairly thick lotion, not as thick as a body butter but still thicker than your average lotion which usually slips and slides around like water!

It sinks in very quickly and leaves my skin feeling softer and looking more glowing, I definitely like this lotion (is anyone else reminded of Hannibal Lecter when they say lotion?) for my dry skin.
It claims to moisturise for 48 hours, but I don't think any body lotion can live upto that claim!
L'Oreal are good at putting ridiculous claims on their products so I tend not to judge them by what they write on the packaging and just see for myself how they perform!
This left my skin feeling moisturised all day though and I definitely didn't get any uncomfortable, dry feelings a few hours after using this like you can from some moisturisers.

The lotion also claims to ''optimise your tan'', I can't say I've noticed it does this for me, but it does moisturise me which means my tan will last longer anyway, but any old moisturiser would do that so I don't really think it's much to boast about!

This doesn't smell of much, it smells fresh and slightly creamy and almond-y, which is pleasant!

. The pump makes it very easy to use and stops any mess or fuss
. Nice pleasant smell, which isn't too strong so it won't interfere with perfumes
. Moisturises well, and for a long time, but not as long as it claims on the bottle!
. Sinks in quickly
. Leaves skin looking healthy and glowing straight after use

. Cheap looking packaging
. Bottle is very tall, but only contains 250ml of product, so appearances are a bit deceiving!

Overall, I enjoyed this product, as you can see the pro's far outweigh the cons!

You can purchase this product at Superdrug stores nationwide, and also online.
RRP is £6.99, but it's currently on offer at Superdrug for only £4.99.
