L'Oreal Skin Perfection Skincare Range.

Good morning ladies!
I was sent some of the products from the L'Oreal Paris Skin Perfection range a while ago, and I've been testing them for probably around a month or longer now so I thought I was fully qualified to give you a review now :)

First off, I really like the packaging! It's made of glass with this lovely pink ombre effect on it, and has a hot pink pump at the top.
I think it's very handy that it has a pump on it, as you only need a small amount of this for the face so it means you can just dispense a little bit at a time.

There's a lot of science behind this product that I won't bore you with but basically it is supposed to be enriched with a formula that will improve the look of your skin, boost hydration and reduce pores.
It's also specifically engineered for the skin of women in their 20's and 30's, which is a novelty seen as most serums are ''anti-ageing'' which you don't necessarily need when you're only 21 like me!

Basically, I love this product! I've definitely noticed a difference in my skin texture and appearance over the past month or so of use, it looks generally healthier and plumper, and my skin tone is more even.
It sinks in within about 20 seconds of applying to the skin, really wonderful.
I also love using it as a primer under my makeup, it makes it glide on seamlessly!

The only downside for this product is the price, it's normally £19.99 which is a lot of money!
But you do get 30ml in the bottle, which is a decent amount, and you only need to apply a little bit to your face.
I still can't help feeling we're paying for the packaging as well though, with the fancy glass bottle and shiny packaging!

This is currently on offer at Boots for £13.33 which is a great saving if you want to try it!

The packaging on this is much the same as the serum, lovely and substantial and looks very pretty on my bedside table.

I started using this moisturiser in conjunction with the serum at the same time, to make sure I got the full effects.
This is a lovely moisturiser, it's a day moisturiser though so, even though it's fine for me during the warmer months when my skin doesn't want something heavy on it, I don't think it'll give sufficient moisturisation in the colder months as I have quite dry skin.
It's great for under makeup again though, you'll need to give it a bit longer to sink in before you apply your makeup than you would need to give the serum though.

As you can see in the picture, this moisturiser has a very slight iridescent pink sheen to it, which I think helps give your skin an instant boost when you apply it.

Overall, this is a nice moisturiser, but I don't think I'd repurchase it as it isn't moisturising enough for my skin needs, but if you have oily/combination or normal skin this would be a good nighttime moisturiser for you as it's hydrating but still pretty light.
Also the price is a bit steep for me, you do get 50ml but I still can't justify £14.99.

This product is also on offer at Boots at the moment though, for £9.99.

Thanks for reading! x

  1. I really like the sound of the serum, and wow at the bottle, but I do agree is £20 a bit steep for L'Oreal? I may pick it up while it's on offer.

    1. Yeah it's beautiful but £20 is a massive price to pay for drugstore products for me! I know that the high end serums are pushing £100 sometimes but still, it's excessive! x

  2. I really like the sound of the serum. I've been looking for something to help with troublesome pores!

    1. It's a really great primer and I feel like it's definitely working some magic on my skin! x
