Schwarzkopf Essence Ultime Diamond Color Range

I love trying new shampoos and conditioners, I don't think I've ever bought the same kind twice just because I always think the grass is greener with another brand!
That's not because I haven't loved shampoos before, I have, but for me the shampoo just has to smell nice because they all really do the same thing, it's the conditioner that's the deal breaker.
The conditioner is the one that, for me anyway, makes all the difference to my hair.
I'm convinced I could use Fairy washing up liquid to wash my hair and it would perform the same as most shampoos!

So in the spirit of trying something new, when Schwarzkopf offered to send me their Diamond Color range I jumped at the chance!
This range is fronted by the ageless goddess that is Claudia Schiffer, and if I was to take hair advice off anyone it would be off her, she is a living Rapunzel!

The packaging is nice and simple, nothing very special but it doesn't offend my eyes at all so that's good, plus the bottles don't take up much room in your bathroom because they're quite slim.

They smell really lovely and ''clean'', that's the best way I can describe it (eloquent I know), it's also quite a sweet smell which appeals to me.

The shampoo is, like I said before, just a shampoo.
It gets my hair clean and lathers up really well, so it does its job!

You also can also get an illuminating oil from this range, you get loads of product which would last you ages because you only need a very small amount.
The oil is very nourishing on the ends, I've got very short hair so oils like this can be tricky to use if they're too runny but this one is a great consistency, not too runny but not too tacky either.

The conditioner is the real gem in this ranges crown though!
It's a thick conditioner that's extremely hydrating, but it doesn't weigh my short hair down when I use it on my roots either so it's the best of both worlds.
It leaves my hair feeling SO shiny and glossy (like a diamond, ho ho ho) and like it has really been repaired!
I know nothing can repair split ends, but this conditioner seems to mask mine and make them less noticeable, probably because it smooths my hair so much.
I've got fine hair and I've found this conditioner nourishing but also lightweight enough for me.

Schwarzkopf Diamond Shine products are available at Boots and Superdrug, instore and online, with prices starting from £4.99.
