The Body Shop Tea Tree Collection

I recently decided to overhaul my skincare regime because it used to consist of facial wipes and some sloppily applied moisturiser (I know, I'm a terrible beauty blogger) and I'm almost 23 now and this skin I'm in has to last me until I'm an old lady, so I might as well make the best out of it!

My skin is mostly dry but also blemish-prone so I decided to use The Body Shop Vitamin E range at night to nourish my skin, because when I'm asleep my skin gets a rest from day to day life and gets to soak up all the lovely moisture, and I picked the Tea Tree range for my morning routine, not only does the zingy scent wake me up, it also clears up my skin and mattifies it for throughout the day.

If you've no idea where to start with The Body Shop ranges then they have a great skincare diagnosis tool on the website that you put details about your skin type into and it gives you the best products to use for you!

I start off in the mornings with my Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash (I've recently bought the Tea Tree Cool & Creamy face wash too, but I've only just started using it so can't give an opinion yet), I massage it all over my dry face for about 20 seconds and then rinse it off with a clean flannel.
Then secondly I soak two cotton rounds in the Tea Tree Facial Toner and sweep them all over my face to get rid of any residue and finally use one pump of the Tea Tree Blemish Fade Night Lotion.

I'm amazed at the difference this regime has made to my skin already!
I get blemishes regularly, and not the tiny little pimple kind, the big blistering volcano kind, but ever since I started using this regime (roughly two months ago) my skin has never been clearer.
The blemishes I had when I started using these products have cleared up and I haven't had anymore since which is something of a miracle for my skin!

The combination of the face wash and toner makes my skin feel really squeaky clean, and the moisturiser stops it from drying out my skin too much.
These products are great for under my makeup too, they give me a nice, smooth canvas to apply everything to, the toner even has mattifying powders in it (which you can see at the bottom of the bottle so make sure you give it a good shake before you use it) so if you've got oily skin then I think you'll really enjoy that product.

Some people say the prices of Body Shop products are a stumbling block but personally I think they're worth it, and also they nearly always have some sort of 30-40% discount code on the go so you never have to pay full price!

Overall I have absolutely no negatives to tell you about this skincare routine! I'm thrilled with the results (as I am about the Vitamin E skincare too, but that's a story for another day) and would definitely recommend these products to anyone with oily or blemish prone skin.
I've also got my eye on the Tea Tree face mask....watch this space!
