You Beauty Discovery Box | August

You Beauty Discovery box is the only beauty subscription I've kept up with, I went through a phase of ordering quite a few but I gave up because I found I was getting tiny moisturiser samples and other various things I'm unlikely to get use out of.
I kept You Beauty because A) it's the cheapest one out there so it isn't a big chunk of money to come out of my bank account and B) the value for the money is really good, you get some pretty high end stuff from this box most months!

This month you had the chance to get a Stila Smudge Stick, but I chose not to get that even though it would be the best value for money, just because I don't actually use pencil liners really so it would just go to waste.

The thing I'm most impressed with so far is the ModelCo Creme Rouge, which is for both cheeks and lips but I personally just use it for my cheeks.
It's really natural and easy to blend, it gives me a nice flush and is really long lasting, great for those no-makeup-makeup looks.

I haven't tried the Tresemme Treatment Shots yet but I've had good experiences with products like this in that past, and my hair could always do with a bit of an injection of moisture!

As well as the two products you choose to go in your box you also get a couple of added extras in there too, and this month it was something a bit different!
I liked the idea of putting a small ''taster'' of a book in there, in the form of the first few chapters of the popular Cassandra Clare book City of Bones.
Unfortunately, as I'm a bit of a bookworm, I already have this book, plus the rest of the series so this is no use to me, but I still think it's a cool idea! Anything that attempts to get people reading is fine by me!

You also get a sachet of Sienna X Gradual Glowing Self Tan, which I'm happy to use but I'd have preferred it in a small bottle because the sachet will probably be quite messy and once you've opened it you'll have to use it all up in one go!

Overall this wasn't the best month that You Beauty Discovery box has had, but it's not the worst! I look forward to seeing what they have in store next month.
